What this site is
Tampa Med Spa Finder is an independent directory of medical spas in Tampa Bay. It exists to make one decision easier: which med spa to book for a specific treatment. We are not a med spa and we do not perform treatments.
Where the data comes from
Listings, ratings, and review counts are compiled from public sources, primarily Google Business Profiles, and refreshed monthly. Businesses that close or stop appearing in public listings are removed at the next refresh. Hours and services can change between refreshes — confirm with the practice before you go.
How rankings work
Listings are sorted by Google rating, then by review count. We never edit a rating or review count. If you see a number here, it is the number the public sees on Google at our last refresh.
The Top Rated badge
Top Rated is automatic. A clinic earns it when its Google rating is 4.9 or higher and it has at least 200 reviews at our latest refresh. Both conditions matter: a perfect score on a dozen reviews says less than 4.9 on several hundred. Nobody can buy the badge and we don’t hand it out editorially — it is recomputed from the data every time listings are refreshed.
Featured placement — our disclosure
Some med spas pay for featured placement. Featured listings appear first in their category and neighborhood and carry a visible Featured label. Payment changes where a listing appears. It never changes its rating, its reviews, its Top Rated status, or whether it is listed at all.
Reviews
Review counts, ratings, and the star breakdown come from Google. On clinic pages we show a few recent review excerpts, attributed by first name and last initial, each linking back to the original on Google. We don’t edit, select for sentiment, or republish reviews in full.
Clinic profiles
The “About” section on a clinic page is compiled from that clinic’s own public website: what they offer, who practices there, and their stated specialties. Practitioner names are only listed when they appear on the clinic’s site. Profiles are labelled with the date they were compiled. Practices change — confirm details directly before booking, and tell us if something is out of date.
